Training Courses available

Training for Employed People is available

MEETING SKILLS NEEDS

Are you making the most of your volunteers and staff?  Why not help them to build their skills with one of our courses. Our Course 'Meeting Skills Needs' in conjunction with Shaw Trust provides courses to help people working for an employer to get basic computer training or any other skills to help their employment or volunteering to be more effective. This is particularly relevant to people with few or even no formal qualifications.

We support people with health problems in a self employed capacity to enable them to work to the maximum of their capabilities but within the boundaries imposed by their disability
Although it is important to be aware of the dangers involved in encouraging disabled people to leave the protection of benefits behind, many would like to work and ELE provides the right training and support so that they are able to do this

Training for self employment is portfolio based and provides an extension to traditional business plan training. It is designed in short modules and incorporates client's personal situation and health issues. Learning is supported by an agreed customise training plan.

ELE's training covers residents of East Lancashire and encourages local networking and community interaction and all necessary business issues.

The training can be accessed all year round and ELE has a limited number of small business units that may be available to provide a safe working environment for our clients at a low cost.

ELE is able to support people who are

Young People From 18-28 years old
Carers returning to work
Women Returners
